The CGO offers a weekly email newsletter that contains information pertaining, but not limited to, broadcasting, telecommunications and internet policy, freedom of expression and censorship, privacy, cultural funding, intellectual property, and access to/freedom of information. The primary organizations monitored are Canadian and other major international courts, the CRTC, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Canadian Heritage, Office of the Information Commissioner of Canada, Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and the Copyright Board. The newsletter contains major upcoming events, press releases, decisions, and news, both Canadian and international, pertaining to the aforementioned topics and organizations.
